- Prepare the sugar mixture: In a ziplock bag, combine 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 tbsp ground cinnamon, and ½ tsp salt. Seal the bag and shake until blended. This mixture will coat your pecans with a perfect sweet and spiced layer.
- Whip the egg mixture: In a mixing bowl, add 1 egg white, 2 tsp water, and 2 tsp vanilla extract. Whisk until frothy, ensuring the mixture is light and airy.
- Coat the pecans: Add 1 lb pecan halves to the bowl with the egg mixture. Stir gently until the pecans are well coated with the egg mixture.
- Coat with sugar mixture: Transfer the egg-coated pecans into the ziplock bag with the sugar mixture. Seal the bag and shake vigorously until all the pecans are evenly coated.
