For Crescent Roll Dough Cruffins:
- 2 tubes of crescent roll dough: Offers a denser texture.
- 3–4 tbsp butter, room temperature: Enhances flavor and texture.
- 1 cup granulated sugar: Sweetens the cruffins.
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon: Infuses the cruffins with warmth.
Instructions
Puff Pastry Cruffins:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Lightly grease 8 muffin tin wells.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets to 11×15 inches.
- Spread butter on the sheets.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle over butter.
- Roll dough tightly into logs.
- Cut logs in half, then lengthwise.
- Wrap pieces around fingers, layered side out.
- Place in muffin tin, bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove, roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture, and cool.
Crescent Roll Dough Cruffins:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Lightly grease 8 muffin tin wells.
- Roll out crescent dough to larger rectangles.
- Spread butter on the sheets.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle over butter.
- Roll dough into logs.
- Cut logs in half, then lengthwise.
- Wrap pieces around fingers, layered side out.
- Place in muffin tin, bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove, roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture, and cool.
Notes
- Oven: Reheat at 350°F for 5-10 minutes for a crisp exterior.
- Microwave: Briefly reheat for 15-20 seconds, but note the texture may not be as crisp.
