Description
Garlic Butter Lobster Tails – tender, juicy lobster baked in a rich garlic butter sauce. A perfect main dish for special occasions or a fancy dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your broiler to high to prepare for cooking the lobster tails.
- Prepare the Lobster Tails: Carefully cut the tops of the lobster shells lengthwise. Use kitchen shears for safety, and take care to loosen the meat, allowing it to rest on top of the shell for better presentation and cooking.
- Create the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Brush the Lobster Tails: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and generously brush them with the garlic butter sauce, ensuring that the meat is fully coated to absorb the rich flavors.
- Bake or Broil: Bake in your preheated oven for about 10–12 minutes, or if you prefer, broil for 6–8 minutes. Cook until the lobster meat is opaque and lightly golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven, garnish with 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
