Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lining a baking sheet with foil. This will ensure easy cleanup and prevent sticking.
- Prepare the lobster tails: Use kitchen scissors to carefully cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, revealing the meat inside. Gently lift the lobster meat out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and place it on top of the shell.
- Make the garlic butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are mixed.
- Brush the lobster: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat, ensuring it’s well-coated for maximum flavor.
- Bake the lobster tails: Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. The lobster is ready when the meat is opaque and lightly browned and the edges begin to curl. A visual cue is that the lobster flesh should be firm to the touch and not translucent.
- Serve and enjoy: Remove the lobster tails from the oven, and optionally brush with a little extra melted butter. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
