Ingredients

  • ⅓ cuplime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ¼ cuppineapple juice (no sugar added)
  • 2 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoonsolive oil
  • 1 tablespoonminced garlic
  • 2 teaspoonsground cumin
  • 2 teaspoonschili powder ((or more to taste))
  • 1 teaspoonkosher salt
  • 1 teaspoonsmoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoonblack pepper
  • ½ teaspoonred pepper flakes ((or more to taste))
  • ¼ cupchopped cilantro
  • 1.5 - 2 poundsskirt or flank steak
  • 1 tablespoonhigh heat oil
  • 2 mediumwhite onions (sliced)
  • 1 largepoblano (ribs and seeds removed then sliced)
  • 2-3 piecesbell peppers (thinly sliced (any color))

Instructions

    Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl or zip-top bag. Marinate the steak for 2-4 hours or overnight.

    Heat a skillet or grill over high heat. Cook the steak for 3-5 minutes per side, then let it rest.
