Description

tart your day with savory Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups! A quick, hearty recipe perfect for busy mornings or on-the-go meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 fully cooked turkey breakfast sausage links
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the eggs: In a mixing bowl, beat 5 large eggs together. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the beaten eggs for brushing later. Scramble the remaining eggs over medium heat until cooked through. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning.
  3. Prepare the crescent rolls: Open the can of refrigerated crescent rolls and unroll the dough. On a flat surface, separate the dough into 8 triangles. These will be the base for your roll-ups.
  4. Add the fillings: Cut the 4 slices of cheddar cheese in half, creating 8 halves. On each triangle of dough, place a half slice of cheese, followed by a good amount of scrambled eggs and a turkey sausage link.
  5. Roll them up: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, carefully roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. This helps prevent the filling from escaping during baking.
  6. Brush and season: Place the roll-ups seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each roll-up with the reserved 2 tablespoons of beaten egg for a golden finish, and sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and puffed up.

Once baked, let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious breakfast roll-ups warm!
