Air Fryer Naked Chicken Tenders

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders: The star of the dish these tender cuts of chicken are known for their juiciness and quick cooking time.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (around 204°C) for at least 5 minutes. This step is vital for ensuring that the chicken cooks evenly and achieves a crispy exterior.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Take 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of chicken tenders and place them in a large dish. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the tenders, ensuring they get a nice coating.
  3. Mix the Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir this mixture well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  4. Season the Chicken: Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken tenders, tossing them gently to ensure every tender is coated evenly with the seasoning.
  5. Air Fry the Chicken: Once everything is well mixed, place the seasoned chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd them. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through. Cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (about 74°C) and are golden brown.
