Blueberry Ice Cream Shaved Ice

Ingredients
  

  • 150 ml Milk for the ice cream
  • 300 ml Whipped Cream
  • 300 g Blueberry for the ice cream and smoothie
  • 140 g Sugar to taste
  • 4 ea Eggs separated yolk and white
  • 1 ea Vanilla Bean optional
  • Yogurt Plain Yogurt for the smoothie
  • Cereal Cereal for topping
  • Condensed Milk Sweetened Condensed Milk for drizzling

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Freezer For freezing the ice cream and milk.

Method
 

  1. Boil 150ml of the measured milk until it boils and let it cool for a while.
  2. Separate the egg yolk from the white while cooling down the boiled milk.
  3. Stir in the separated yolk and sugar with a whisk until light in color.
  4. Mix cooled milk into beaten yolk and continue until lemon-colored.
  5. Boil the mixture again and cool in the refrigerator.
  6. Grind the blueberries in a blender.
  7. Stir in whipped cream until firm.
  8. Mix cooled egg yolk and milk mixture with ground blueberries and whipped cream.
  9. Freeze the mixture to complete the ice cream.
  10. Grind frozen milk in a blender to make the shaved ice.
  11. Layer the shaved ice with blueberry yogurt smoothie, cereal, and ice cream.

Notes

Great for kids and a healthy alternative to store-bought ice cream.
