  • 2 ½ cups granulated sugar 500 grams: Sweetens the brownies.
  • 1 tbsp vanilla: Enhances flavor.
  • 4 eggs: Binds the ingredients.
  • 1 ½ cups flour about 195 grams: Provides structure.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder about 80 grams: Adds rich chocolate flavor.
  • ½ tsp salt: Balances sweetness and enhances flavor.
Brownie Sundae (per sundae):
  • ½ cup Chapman's Original Coffee Chip Ice Cream: Creamy base for the sundae.
  • 2 tablespoons thick chocolate sauce: Adds extra chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips: Provides a crunchy texture.
  • Optional toppings: Whipped cream maraschino cherries, sprinkles, chopped peanuts, etc.

Method

  1. Make the Brownie Batter: Combine melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Whisk in eggs until smooth. Stir in flour, cocoa, and salt until the batter is thick and well combined.
  2. Bake the Brownies: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper or tin foil. Spread the batter evenly in the pan. Bake for 24-30 minutes until set but still slightly gooey in the center. Cool completely.
  3. Prepare the Sundae: Slice the cooled brownies into 12 pieces. Place one brownie on a plate, top with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
  4. Serve Immediately: Add any additional toppings as desired and enjoy!
