Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut out 6–8 snowflake shapes. Place half of the shapes on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for puffing.
Prepare the burrata: Tear the burrata into small manageable pieces, ensuring they are not too large to fit perfectly in the center of the snowflakes.
Assemble the pastries: Place small pieces of the burrata in the center of each puff pastry snowflake. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash (a mixture of 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of milk) to help seal the pastries.
Seal the pastries: Top each filled snowflake with the remaining pastry shapes and press the edges together firmly to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for an added decorative touch.
Brush the tops: Apply the egg wash to the tops of the pastries using a pastry brush. This will ensure they bake to a golden-brown perfection.
Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
Cool slightly: Once baked, let the pastries cool for a few minutes before garnishing.
Garnish: Top each warm pastry with a generous sprinkle of pomegranate arils and fresh mint leaves. Drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Serve: Arrange the pastries on a beautiful platter and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy the festive ambiance they create!
