Ingredients
  

  • Cherry tomatoes 20-24
  • Fresh mozzarella balls 20-24
  • Fresh basil leaves 20-24
  • Balsamic glaze 1/4 cup
  • Extra-virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon

Method
 

  1. Start by assembling all your ingredients and tools.
  2. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  3. Take a wooden skewer and thread one cherry tomato onto it, followed by a fresh mozzarella ball and a basil leaf.
  4. Repeat this process for each skewer, arranging them on a serving platter.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat the balsamic glaze over low heat until it becomes slightly thinner. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drizzle the balsamic glaze and extra-virgin olive oil over the assembled skewers.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and ground black pepper evenly across the skewers.
  8. Your Caprese skewers are now ready to be served!

  • Make Ahead: You can assemble these Caprese skewers a few hours before serving. Keep them in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap, to maintain freshness.
