Cheesy Rotel Sausage Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Chopped fresh parsley or green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it well.
  2. Combine the sausage, cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar, biscuit mix, and seasonings in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions and serve hot.
