  1. Prepare the Cereal: Start by placing 9 cups of Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. This will be the base of your delicious snack.
  2. Melt Chocolate & Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of unsalted butter. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  3. Mix in Gelatin: Stir in 1/2 cup of cherry gelatin mix until it is completely combined with the melted chocolate and butter. Ensure there are no clumps, which will help to evenly coat the cereal.
  4. Coat the Cereal: Carefully pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the cereal until it is fully coated.
  5. Dust with Sugar: In a large zip-top plastic bag, whisk together 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 package (3.5 oz) of instant cheesecake pudding mix. Add the coated cereal into the bag, seal it tightly, and shake well until the cereal is evenly coated in the sugar mixture. This step is crucial for achieving that sweet, enticing layer.
  6. Cool and Set: Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer, allowing it to cool and set for about 30 minutes. The coating will become even more delectable as it cools.
