Ingredients
  

  • 1 can cinnamon roll dough pre-packaged
  • 1 tablespoon flour for dusting
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • powdered sugar for serving
  • maple syrup for serving
  • fresh fruit such as strawberries or blueberries, for serving
  • whipped cream for serving

Equipment

  • 1 Frying Pan or Griddle
  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Unroll the cinnamon roll dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small bite-sized pieces.
    1 tablespoon flour, 3 large eggs
  2. Mix the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.

  3. Dip each dough piece into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.

  4. Heat a frying pan and cook pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake pieces for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.

Notes

Serve warm with powdered sugar, syrup, fresh fruit, and whipped cream.
