Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures even cooking for your lobster tails.
Prepare lobster tails: Slice down the center of each lobster tail, ensuring not to cut all the way through. This will help the sauce soak in and create a beautiful presentation.
Sauté garlic: In a medium skillet, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Make the sauce: Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan, and 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until combined and slightly thickened.
Prepare for baking: Place the sliced lobster tails on a baking sheet. Use a spoon to generously pour the garlic butter sauce over each tail to ensure they are well coated.
Bake: Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes. Baste with the sauce once or twice during cooking to keep them moist.
Garnish: Once fully cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with 1 tbsp of chopped parsley and paprika for color and added flavor.
