Ingredients
  

  • 3.5 lbs Corned Beef with Spice Packet
  • 1 Sweet Onion (quartered)
  • 1 lb Carrots (cut in half)
  • 2 lbs Small Red Potatoes (whole)
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 2-3 cups Water to cover corned beef
  • 1 Green Cabbage (quartered)

Equipment

  • 1 Crockpot or Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Place onions, corned beef, spice packet ingredients, carrots, potatoes, and beer in a large slow cooker. Add enough water to just cover the corned beef.
  2. Cook on low for 600 minutes.
  3. Add the cabbage and cook on high for 60 to 90 minutes.
