- Pat the roast dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Sear in a skillet if desired.
- Transfer to the Crockpot. Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce, then pour over beef.
- Cook on low for 480 minutes, until beef is tender.
- Shred the beef and return it to the juices in the Crockpot.
- Serve in hoagie rolls with slices of provolone cheese, if desired, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Searing the beef enhances flavor but can be skipped for a simpler recipe.
