- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese (or goat cheese), dill, capers, and black pepper.2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped, 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped, 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper, 12 slices thin cocktail-size pumpernickel or rye bread
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Top half of the slices with the radish slices and sprinkle with extra black pepper.
- Place the other slices of bread on top, cream cheese side down.
- Cut the sandwiches into quarters and garnish with dill sprigs.
