Pizza Fries

Pizza Fries combine crispy fries with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni slices, creating a delightful fusion of two beloved comfort foods.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds french fries frozen (store-bought) or homemade
  • ½ cup marinara sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet (9x13-inch) with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the frozen fries evenly in a single layer on the lined baking sheet. Bake until crispy and golden brown according to the package instructions, which is typically about 20 minutes. If you are making fries from scratch using freshly sliced potatoes, adjust the cook time to 35-40 minutes based on thickness.
  3. Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and spread an even layer of marinara sauce on top. Make sure every fry is coated with that delicious sauce.
  4. Next, evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the fries, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese. Finally, arrange the pepperoni slices atop the cheese.
  5. Return the baking sheet to the oven and continue baking until the cheese has melted and is bubbling, about 15 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking!
  6. Once baked, remove your Pizza Fries from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, alongside extra marinara sauce or your favorite pizza dipping sauces.
