Tater Tot Casserole

This Tater Tot casserole is easy to make with ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, and lots of Cheddar cheese for a tasty comfort food classic.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounce
  • to taste salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 package frozen tater tots 16 ounce
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and stir the ground beef until fully browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in the condensed soup and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish; evenly layer the tater tots on top and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the tater tots are golden brown and hot, about 30 to 45 minutes.
